Convert a 2017–2020 Gen 2 Ford Raptor, or a 2015-up F-150, to a full five link coil-sprung rear that matches Gen 3 Raptor geometry.
The Gen 2 rear is leaf sprung. This kit replaces it with the Gen 3 architecture — four trailing arms, a panhard bar and coil springs — using the same pick-up points Ford used, so anything built for a Gen 3 rear end bolts straight to it.
Everything structural is in the box. You choose springs, links and shocks — stock Gen 3 take-offs work, and so does anything of ours. Requires substantial cutting and welding — qualified fabricator only.
What Is In The Kit
- Rear coil spring mounts with the panhard bar mount integrated, in the stock Gen 3 location
- Rear link frame mounts — weld to the frame in the stock Gen 3 location
- Rear shock mounts matching the Gen 3 stock shock location, built considerably stronger than factory
- Rear axle mount kit — every bracket needed to give your axle the full set of Gen 3 pick-up points
- Hardware kit — the nuts and bolts to assemble the kit and mount the axle and links
Two Factory Parts You Must Source Yourself
The kit deliberately does not include two Ford parts, because they are available from any dealer and there is no sense in us marking them up:
Stock rear coil spring lower cast mounts
The cast perch the bottom of the spring sits in. Order from the dealership.

Stock rear coil spring top rubber isolators
The rubber pad between the top of the spring and the frame. Also a dealer part.

Get these ordered before the truck comes apart rather than after.
Three Choices You Make
The kit gives you the structure. Three components are yours to pick, and all the options genuinely work.
1. Springs
Run stock Gen 3 rear coil springs — take-offs are findable — or any aftermarket spring you prefer.
2. Links and panhard bar
Stock Gen 3 take-offs work. So do our billet aluminum rear links and billet panhard bar, or our stock-length fabricated links and adjustable panhard bar. Since you are building the rear end from scratch anyway, this is the moment to fit the good ones.
3. Shocks
A set of take-off Gen 3 rear shocks will work, or any aftermarket shock that mounts in the stock location.
Fitment — Read This Before Ordering
Fits the 2017–2020 Gen 2 Ford Raptor and 2015-up Ford F-150.
The width limit that catches people out
This kit only works at stock Raptor width. You cannot use it on a standard F-150 without first fitting a Raptor-width rear axle and a wider rear body — the stock rear springs and the panhard bar will not clear the narrower body. If you are starting from a standard F-150, talk to us first.
Tires
Works with both 35" and 37" tires with no problem.
Installation
This kit requires substantial cutting and welding and should be done by a qualified fabricator. You are removing a leaf-sprung rear end and building a five link in its place — frame mounts, axle brackets, spring mounts and shock mounts all weld in, and their positions set the geometry.
We build these in-house in Mesa, Arizona. Install guides are at Install Instructions.
Questions
Will this fit a standard F-150?
Only at Raptor width. A narrower standard F-150 needs a Raptor-width rear axle and a wider rear body first — the stock springs and panhard bar will not clear otherwise.
How is this different from the long travel conversion?
This one gives you Gen 3 geometry at stock-style travel, with the shocks in the stock location. The long travel version relocates the panhard bar and runs the shocks through the bed for considerably more travel.
Can I upgrade to a through-the-bed coil over later?
Yes. Adding the bed cage kit to this conversion takes you there without redoing the rest of the work.
Can I use the rear bump stop kit?
Yes — the rear bump stop kit works with this conversion.
Will it work with a diff skid and shock guards?
Yes, our rear axle diff skid, rear shock skids and shock guards all work with this kit.
Do I need new springs and shocks?
You need some — the kit is the structure, not the suspension. Stock Gen 3 take-offs work if you can find them; so does anything aftermarket in the stock location.
Where is it made?
Designed, fabricated and finished in-house at our facility in Mesa, Arizona, USA.
